    When does the regular presale for SOUTHSIDE 2027 start?
    The official presale for SOUTHSIDE 2027 starts on Tuesday, 23 June 2026, at 2:00 pm.

    What changes in ticketing compared to SOUTHSIDE 2026?

    From the upcoming festival edition, you can purchase festival tickets and camping tickets separately. This gives you more flexibility when booking and allows you to tailor your festival experience better to your wishes.

    The festival ticket is your basic ticket. It entitles you to enter the event grounds and attend all concerts. Please note: the festival ticket alone does not include overnight accommodation on the campsite.

    If you wish to stay overnight on site, you will additionally need a camping ticket. First, you choose your desired camping category, i.e. Regular Camping, Green Camping or Resort Camping / Glamping.

    After selecting your camping category, you can – depending on availability – book further camping upgrades. These include, for example, a Caravan Ticket (formerly Trailer Park) or Camping Claims.

    As usual, you can also add a VIP Upgrade to your festival ticket, available as VIP PLATINUM or VIP GOLD Upgrade.

    Important summary:

    You need a festival ticket to attend the concerts.
    You additionally need a camping ticket to stay overnight on site.

    VIP upgrades can be optionally booked with your festival ticket.
    Camping upgrades are optional and can only be booked in combination with a valid camping ticket per person.

    The new ticket structure allows you to customise your booking even more individually and select only the services you really want to use.

  • Festival Ticket & Campground Ticket

    Do I need a campground ticket to attend the concerts?
    No. The festival ticket alone is sufficient to gain access to the event grounds (concert area).

    Can I purchase the festival ticket and campground ticket separately?

    Yes, you do not have to purchase all products at the same time. However, as always: camping products sell out quickly, so you should not wait too long.

    Can I visit friends at the campground without a campground ticket?
    No. Without a campground ticket, there is no access to the campground – not even briefly, not even just to say hello.

  • Caravan Tickets (formerly Trailer Park)

    Do I need a camping ticket if we arrive with a motorhome/camper?
    Yes. Every person (!) requires a camping ticket. Additionally, each vehicle needs a caravan ticket.

    What caravan ticket options are available?

    Basically, we differentiate between the following caravan areas:

    Caravan NORTH and Caravan SOUTH
    These two caravan areas are located in the Regular Camping area. If you want to camp here, you need a caravan ticket per vehicle. Additionally, every person requires a valid Regular Camping ticket.

    Caravan Green
    The Caravan Green area is located in the Green Camping area. If you want to camp here, you need a Caravan Green ticket per vehicle. Additionally, every person requires a valid Green Camping ticket.

    In all caravan areas, you also have the option to book an electricity connection. Simply select the corresponding Caravan Claim incl. Power.

    Where is each caravan area located?

    For orientation, you can find a map with the marked caravan areas in the ticket shop under “Camping”. There you can see where the respective areas are expected to be located.

    Please note: The map is a first draft. During the further planning of the 2027 festival, there may still be adjustments to the location or layout of the areas due to production reasons.

  • Resort Camping/Glamping

    Do I need a camping ticket for the regular campsite if I book a resort upgrade?
    No. You need a Resort Camping Ticket for this. If you book accommodation, this ticket is already included – so a separate Resort Camping Ticket is not necessary.

    I have a Resort Camping Ticket, can I also stay at the Regular or Green campsite?
    No. Resort Camping Tickets are valid only for the SOUTHSIDE Resort. For the other campsites, you need a separate camping ticket (Regular or Green Camping).

  • Camping Claims

    Do I need a camping ticket if we want to book a camping claim in the Regular or Green Camping area?
    Yes. Every person (!) who stays overnight in your separately booked camping claim also needs a camping ticket for the respective campsite (Regular Camping or Green Camping).

    How many people are allowed in a camping claim?
    A camping claim can be used by up to 10 people. Each person still needs their own camping ticket.

  • VIP GOLD and VIP PLATIN

    Do I need a festival ticket in addition to the VIP GOLD/PLATIN ticket?

    Yes, the VIP GOLD/PLATINUM ticket is purely an upgrade. You fundamentally need a festival ticket to access the event grounds (concert area), where the VIP GOLD/PLATIN lounge is located.

    Can I stay overnight in the Regular or Green Camping area with a VIP GOLD/PLATIN ticket?

    The VIP GOLD/PLATIN ticket is purely an upgrade for the event grounds. You can purchase it with or without VIP camping. Likewise, you can also purchase another camping product if you want to stay somewhere other than the VIP camping site.

  • Which ticket or ticket combination do I actually need to be allowed to do what?

    Here you will find an overview of which tickets you need for which areas and offers:

     

    Festival Ticket

    Access: Event site (concerts, stages, food stalls, etc.)
    Important: No access to the camping areas included

    Festival Ticket + Camping Ticket (REGULAR Camping or GREEN Camping)

    Access: Event site and the booked campsite

    This ticket combination is the most frequently booked and ideal for everyone who wants to stay on site for the entire weekend!
    GREEN Camping is the quieter area with consideration for sleep and the environment.

    Festival Ticket + Camping Ticket (REGULAR Camping or GREEN Camping) + Caravan or Camping Claim

    Caravan:

    • Festival ticket per person + camping ticket (Regular or Green Camping) per person + caravan ticket per vehicle
    • Caravan ticket per vehicle for motorhomes, campers or caravans
    • Every travel companion needs their own camping ticket

    Camping Claim:

    • Festival ticket per person + camping ticket (Regular Camping or Green Camping) per person + own camping claim (100m² camping ground for up to 10 people – available in Regular and Green Camping areas)
    • Everyone needs their own camping ticket (Regular Camping or Green Camping)
    • The camping claim (Regular Camping or Green Camping) is booked separately and reserved for you on site

    Festival Ticket + Resort Camping / Glamping

    Access: Event site and Resort Camping – our comfort campsite
     

    • No additional camping ticket required – this is already included in the Resort Camping ticket or accommodation in the resort
    • Ideal for everyone who wants more comfort and service when camping!

    Festival Ticket + VIP GOLD / PLATINUM

    Access: Festival site + VIP GOLD or PLATINUM area (depending on the upgrade booked)


    Exclusive additional services in the GOLD / PLATINUM area:

    • Exclusive access to the VIP lounge with a prime view of the main stage
    • Priority entry
    • Exclusive sanitary facilities
    • Free entry to the exclusive aftershow parties on Friday & Saturday including selected free drinks
    • Private bar
    • Access to the front stage areas of all stages*                                                                                   *Unless closed to further guests for safety reasons.
    • (Optional – when booking including VIP camping) Access to the separate VIP campsite, where you can camp directly in or next to your vehicle
    • (Optional – when booking PLATINUM) High-quality finger food for lunch & dinner, candy bar between buffets as well as exclusive PLATINUM bar with a selection of soft drinks, wine, beers and hot beverages all inclusive 

    Without VIP camping, combinable with:

    • Regular or Green Camping ticket
    • Resort Camping / accommodation in the resort

     Important: A festival ticket is always required to be able to use VIP GOLD / PLATINUM offers.

    Do I need a parking ticket?
    Yes – if you arrive by car, each vehicle requires its own parking ticket.
    You can book your parking ticket directly in the ticket shop for €15 per car – this is cheaper than the fees on site, which will be higher.

     

    Alternatively, the following arrival options are available to you:

    • Festival shuttle from Tuttlingen station:
      You can conveniently arrive by the official festival shuttle.
      The timetables will be published in good time before the festival, from that point you can also book your shuttle flat rate in the ticket shop.

     

    • Arrival by bicycle:
      You can arrive free of charge by bicycle.
      On site we provide free bicycle parking spaces – please bring your own bicycle lock!
